Someone called me pretending I had unpaid tax to sort out, total scam!

They never actually gave my name, just told me there was an arrest warrant out for me because of tax issues and said to hit 1 to fix it. I knew it was dodgy, but it still gave me a fright.

A bloke rang me, I’m not sure of the company, but he kept calling me “darling” and was convinced I’d left my info to hear about some extra cash. I told him I hadn’t, and then he said “darling, this is about the financial market.” I just ended the call. My main question is, how on earth did he find out my name?
