Just got a call from someone with an overseas accent. They used my first name and claimed to be from some sort of trading or main centre. I ended the call straight away.

Me and my other half kept gettin calls from this number, then the same one but with the end digit switched to a 7, and another with the last digit as 9. They tried sayin I’d signed up for some marketing job from home or something. The person had a dodgy American accent and was super pushy, wouldn’t even believe me when I said no. Ended up just blockin all those numbers.

Got a call from someone who already knew my name and said it was about me wanting to earn some extra money on the side. Pretty sure it was a dodgy call centre overseas trying to scam me.

I received a call earlier today where they used my actual name and started inquiring about something I’m supposedly interested in. However, the connection was atrocious, and I struggled to catch what they were saying. When I requested them to repeat themselves, their response was shockingly rude-something along the lines of, “Are you joking? You ought to see a doctor about your hearing!” It definitely feels like I’ve encountered a scammer, and they were quite disrespectful to boot!
