Got a call today saying I was signed up for some online trading thing, which I'm definitely not involved with. Funny enough, I got a very similar call yesterday from a number starting 020 3885 7541. Feels like a proper scam to me.

It was definitely a scam. They called to offer some extra cash and somehow already knew my name, which freaked me out since the phone contract isn’t even under my name.

Just got a call from someone with an overseas accent. They used my first name and claimed to be from some sort of trading or main centre. I ended the call straight away.

Me and my other half kept gettin calls from this number, then the same one but with the end digit switched to a 7, and another with the last digit as 9. They tried sayin I’d signed up for some marketing job from home or something. The person had a dodgy American accent and was super pushy, wouldn’t even believe me when I said no. Ended up just blockin all those numbers.

Got a call from someone who already knew my name and said it was about me wanting to earn some extra money on the side. Pretty sure it was a dodgy call centre overseas trying to scam me.

Today I got a call where they actually used my proper name and tried to chat about some offer or something. The connection was awful though, barely catching a word, so I asked them to say it again. Instead of being helpful, they snapped at me with something like "Seriously? Maybe get your ears checked!" Honestly, sounded like a scammer and super cheeky as well!!

Someone rang me up the other day and used my name, talking about me supposedly enrolling in some trading scheme I have no clue about. I didn't go any further since it sounded fishy, but I reckon if I kept going, they’d have pushed me for my bank details or other personal stuff.
