Got a call from someone named David Harper at this number, who asked for me specifically. He brought up Florence Bell and said something about a BBC mention. Then he went on about sending me some details on fine art. I told him I wasn't bothered and hung up. My phone flagged the number as a "nuisance call," so I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.

Got a call from a bloke named Peter, using a number ending in 072. He tricked an elderly disabled woman into handing over thousands and now keeps making excuses to avoid paying her back. He didn’t even know basic stuff about famous London galleries. The 020 number he uses is from a shady phone provider - you can use those numbers anywhere, not just in London. The so-called gallery he runs feels like a total scam. Plus, their social media hasn’t been updated since 2022. Very dodgy all round.

Best to avoid it, the gallery's completely bare.

This company is a scam; there is no gallery at this address. I traced the number to a company in Leeds that sells numbers to scammers.

This is totally a con, no doubt about it.

The owner of this scam seems to have switched genders, using a bloke’s photo though claiming to be a woman now. I’ve contacted quite a few galleries and not one recognised the name. When I tried to pop into the gallery, they told me there was no sales rep available and that they'd be off for several days, then weeks on end. Quite fishy if you ask me.

Watch out! Had a call from a really pushy saleswoman who spoke like she knew her stuff but wouldn’t let me get a word in. She kept pushing hard, even demanding I send a £200 deposit through PayPal straight away to hold a painting she claimed would be a good investment. When I told her to calm down and that I needed more time, she just hung up on me! Honestly, their business methods seem very dodgy and I’m not convinced they’re legit at all.

It wasn’t a bank, but someone talking about investing in fine art. The caller sounded quite knowledgeable and spoke very politely, nothing rude or pushy about it.

Got a call from someone trying to sell me something from this firm today. While chatting, I had a look at their Companies House info and saw their latest accounts show their net worth is less than £7000. The bloke kept telling me the company was in good shape financially. I asked if he could back that up with proof. He was pretty convincing on the phone, but the figures just don’t add up.

Got a cold call from someone trying to push art on me. The bloke’s voice was so odd, sounded as if he had a mouthful of marbles or something. Honestly, it’s pretty amusing that there’s actually someone out there willing to speak like that for a living.

Got calls from Florence Bell Gallery pushing me to invest in art, really persistent even though I'm on the TPS list. I told them to stop ringing me but they just keep going. Proper annoying!

Florence Bell operates as a genuine art gallery in London, and the contact numbers regarding their property are indeed accurate. During a rather unannounced visit to the gallery, I took the liberty of posing a few inquiries to the staff. I was informed that their entire investment strategy revolves around artworks from artists who have sadly passed away. This clever tactic allows them to artificially raise the prices of the pieces, taking advantage of their limited availability. While it's an astute approach to business, it's also quite controversial, as the profits don't trickle down to the artists’ descendants or families; rather, they line the pockets of the gallery and its investors, with returns that can soar between 8-14% annually for pieces from renowned creators. They certainly are tenacious too, often contacting potential buyers to boost their sales. A courteous response in such scenarios could be something along the lines of, “I appreciate the outreach, but I have no intention of investing in fine art, and my budget simply doesn’t allow for such expenditures.”

I recently came across a business named "Florence Bell" claiming they could transform an initial outlay of £500 into thousands within mere weeks by tapping into the so-called “Fine Arts” market. They even attempted to liken this scheme to the earnings of specific members of the Royal Family, suggesting that it justified why everyday individuals ought to see a profitable return on their investments instead of contributing to the Royal coffers. However, their grasp on certain fundamental details was rather lacking, to say the least!

I got a call from Florence Bell Gallery, with a lady named Kate - she didn’t give a last name - pushing me to put money into British art. She claimed she’d got my details from Gold Investments or something like that. Sounds like it might have connections to SVS Securities, since she used the same old contact info I had when I did some share trading through SVS a while back. She was pretty keen on emailing me more info too, wouldn’t take no for an answer.

I got a call from 02038838076 while I wasn’t at home. Later, as I was waiting for someone to ring me, I decided to call that number back. An American voice replied saying something like "the definition phoned is not supported" and then the call just ended suddenly. Pretty weird experience.

I got a cold call from something called Florence Bell Gallery, they were trying to get me to put money into some art investment. The person on the phone sounded like they were being honest, but it’s just not something I’m into. Since I’m on the TPS, I honestly found the call a bit annoying and borderline harassment.

I had a run in with Florence Bell Galleries, they really push hard to get you to invest in fancy art. Might be legit but their sales approach is way too intense for me. Not something I wanna gamble on!

Got a call from 02038838076 about investing in fine art, claiming it beats the returns you'd get from banks or building societies, especially with inflation going up. Honestly, steer well clear. Best to find a proper financial adviser you can trust rather than bothering with these kinds of calls.

Lately, i've been getting calls from the same number about three or four times every day. I kept ignoring them, hoping they'd leave a voicemail. Today, an automated message finally came through telling me to 'replace the handset and try again,' then it blasted this loud, annoying klaxon noise that went on for like five minutes straight. I've blocked the number now since it's obviously just some annoying nuisance.

I had a rather peculiar encounter with a company claiming to be Florence Bell, who suggested they could offer us some sort of assistance. However, I simply told them there was no way they could be of any help to us and promptly hung up the phone. Quite straightforward, really!

Got calls from the same number three times in a single day. The lady who answered used first names and told me there was no need to be concerned. When I tried asking more questions, she claimed the line was acting up. Sounded quite genuine and had a friendly tone.

They rang me up and wanted to speak to someone who don’t live at this address. When I asked who they were, they started talking about some banking thing. Then they asked if I owned the place. After that, they mentioned something about investments and fine arts. I asked who they were and they wanted my name too. When I refused, they just hung up. Strange call really.
