I got a call from some bloke who barely spoke any English, claiming to be from Virgin Media about an issue with my internet. I told him I’m already online and everything is fine. He kept going on, but I just told him to stop bothering me and ended the call. These callers are really irritating and sketchy, I’m totally done with being hassled every single day.

About five days prior, I received a call from a woman claiming to be from a Pakistani number, insisting there was an issue with "your Virgin Internet." I promptly informed her that my provider is BT, which pretty much exposed her fib. To my astonishment, that very same number got in touch again today. This time, her script had changed-she was now saying there was a problem with "your BT line." I reminded her that I'm with TalkTalk. Who knows, perhaps next time I'll throw in that I'm a Sky customer instead! It truly baffles me how to get rid of these relentless pests once and for all.

Just got an unsolicited phone call from an older woman who said she was calling from Spain, representing the Canarian Legal Alliance. I’m not entirely convinced that’s accurate, especially since the CLA operates out of Las Palmas in the Canaries. It feels like whoever she was working for might simply be piggybacking on the CLA’s reputation for successfully handling timeshare mis-selling cases in Spain.
