I played the voicemail and they definitely knew my name and who I am, telling me to read something out. It was a woman’s voice, but I couldn’t make out much of what she was saying.

Got a call from this number at 16:02 today, answered but no one said anything so I ended the call. Looks like they tried to call me on the 5th, 6th and 7th July too, but I didn’t bother answering those. After reading other comments, sounds like it’s meant to be Greenpeace? I might have signed one of their petitions but I didn’t share my phone number there, bit cheeky to ring me if that’s true. Going to block the number now. I'm with Greenpeace myself, but I didn't know this number offhand. It's a real one though, and they generally aren't too aggressive about donations. If you get a ring from this number, maybe pick up and see what they want?

Got a call around 7.30pm from someone claiming to be from Greenpeace, thanking me for signing a petition. They said the call was recorded for training and then started asking personal stuff like my age and full name. When I asked why, they said it was to give me updates about the campaign. I don’t recall ever signing up for anything with Greenpeace. Seemed dodgy to me, so I told them I was tied up and then blocked the number.
