I just had a rather dubious call from someone claiming to be 'Dave' from O2, stating that I was due for an upgrade. What's peculiar, though, is that he couldn't tell me my own name - you'd expect a network provider to have that sort of detail before giving you a ring! Plus, O2 typically wouldn't use an 0203 number for such things. Sounds fishy to me!

Received a dodgy call claiming to be from O2. When I mentioned I wasn't with them, they inquired about my current provider, which struck me as very suspicious. So, I decided to cut the conversation short and ended the call.

Just had a rather dodgy phone call from a bloke named Peter claiming to be from O2, and he said I qualified for some sort of promotional offer. Be on your guard, as they might have your details too! Initially, I thought he was genuine since he spoke in a proper English accent.
