I looked up this number and found it belonged to AES Payroll Services in London. Since I’m not employed under any payroll, it made no sense for them to ring me. I didn’t answer because the number was unfamiliar.

Just got a call from 020 3883 4017 claiming to give me a discount on my monthly EE bill because apparently I'm a loyal customer. Told them I don't even use EE and they ended up hanging up straight away. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!

Got a text from 442038834017 saying I missed some free call alert from 02 and to stop it I had to dial 901 then press * and pick option 5. The phone flagged it as suspected spam and blocked it straight away.

Such a pain! I was under the impression it’s actually illegal here in the UK to ring folks out of the blue trying to push products when they haven’t handed over their phone number willingly. Definitely blocked them and flagged it up.

Total scam call. They kept pushing some phone deal, didn’t even know who I was or which network I’m with, and couldn’t say how they even got my number. Wouldn’t trust it for a second, steer well clear.

Got a call from a number I didn’t know and wasn’t saved on my phone, so I just let it ring out. They didn’t leave any voicemail either. Figured it was probably just some telemarketer or spam caller.

Beware of a scam that’s been doing the rounds! I received a call allegedly from my mobile provider, O2, claiming they had some fantastic offers to either enhance my current plan or trim down my bills. However, they were keen on prying into my personal details. I can’t stress this enough - do not divulge any of your information! It’s a con through and through. There’s also another number linked to this - 02045155027. Best to block them without hesitation. The blokes on the other end are incredibly relentless!

She mentioned she was calling from O2, but I informed her that I wasn’t a customer of theirs. I play the role of a sex therapist, so I cheekily offered my services, asking if she required assistance in that department. She promptly ended the call! 😄
