Got a call today from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was from O2. Straight away I knew it was dodgy. He started with the usual “Can you hear me? I can't hear you” trick. I played along and asked him to speak up. Then I told him, “Sorry mate, I’m on my mobile and the signal’s rubbish, O2’s such a rubbish network.” He quickly shot back with “O2’s not rubbish,” and I just ended the call and blocked the number.

Someone called saying they were from EE and promised to cut my bill in half. They asked me how much I pay every month and got annoyed when I told them that if they were really from EE, they’d already know my details. Then they just hung up on me. I've had to block 3 other numbers lately with exactly the same scam.
