My phone buzzed for just a moment before hanging up. I googled the number and saw what others said, so I blocked it straight away. How do they manage to get hold of our numbers in the first place?? I’m super cautious now about clicking on cookies cos I reckon that’s how they sell your details. What really annoys me is you block one number, and then they just ring again from some other extension.

I’ve had quite a few calls like this last week - they ring once and hang up, leaving just a missed call (I only realised this because I actually had my phone in my hand when they rang). I’d tried calling a couple back, thinking they might’ve been important, but hung up as soon as I heard it was some kind of survey. Seems like the same scam that caused my grandad trouble, where they get you to ring back and then hit you with a massive charge. He ended up with a huge phone bill. Best thing is to just block these numbers and never call back.

today, i got a call from this number and they asked me loads of questions, most of which i couldnt really answer. the person started off really calm, but then suddenly the line just went dead. so i tried ringing the number back and got told it was the wrong number. did it a couple more times just to be sure, and got the same answer. this lot seriously need sorting out. someone out there must know who they really are.
