Phone number ☎️ 02038753891 👆 is reported as belonging to Verisure, a legitimate alarm monitoring company that contacts customers when alarms are triggered. Calls are sometimes made at unsociable hours to alert primary or secondary keyholders about potential security issues. Genuine calls require verifying mutual security codes to avoid fraud. However, some users report numerous frequent or silent calls, including early morning calls without messages, causing irritation and suspicion of scams or nuisance calls. If not a Verisure customer, unanswered calls or requests for passwords should be treated cautiously, and it is advisable to contact Verisure directly to confirm legitimacy. Overall, the number is generally genuine but frequent or unexplained calls have led some to block it.

They’ve been ringing me for about four days now. At first, I asked them what info they wanted, but just told them they should already have it. I ended the call. Every time I say hello, their line starts ringing - sounds like a call centre to me. I hung up again and I’m planning to report this to VERISURE.

Got a call around 10 at night and the guy wanted me to confirm some address, but it wasn’t even mine. Really weird timing for a call like that!

I received a call from this number when my Verisure alarm was triggered. Turns out, the cat had accidentally set it off. Since I wasn’t home at the time and everyone else was asleep, the call came through in the early hours and honestly, it could’ve been mistaken for some dodgy scam. But after checking online, I saw it was a genuine alert, not an emergency. I’ve saved the number in my phone now and wouldn’t recommend blocking it if you’re using Verisure too.

Got a call from this number at like 3 in the morning. I honestly don’t have any Verisure security system or anything. Quite unprofessional to be ringing so late.

Totally a scam, they were fishing for my info. They rang me up, knew my name and an address I recognise, then asked me for my password. Surprisingly, they even mentioned the password they supposedly had on record! As soon as I said "this must be a scam," they just ended the call. I've blocked the number and reported it to Verisure as it looks like a possible data leak.

Just so everyone knows, this ain’t no scam call from this number. I’ve got Verisure alarms at my place and they rang up because one of the sensors went off and made them contact me. It’d be great if folks who have nothing better to do would stop spreading wrong info. I got in touch using our agreed code words, so it’s legit. Let’s try and keep the facts straight, yeah?

020 3875 3891 keeps calling me, claiming to be from my alarm firm Verisure, trying to reschedule an engineer visit. My actual alarm company always sends a text notification, never calls like this. This number rings me loads, but often they just cut off without saying anything. Sound like dodgy scammers to me, I reckon they’re tied up with some bloke named Damian Robert Cornell, from London and West Worthing.

I've had a couple of phone calls from this number as well. Typically, when I answer, all I hear is a ringing sound on their side. The most recent time I managed to connect with them, they claimed to be from Verisure, saying it was a welcome call. They asked for my password, while also providing me with one from their end. I informed the caller that I wanted to check the number and call back, but he mentioned he had already devoted five minutes to the chat and would make a note that I refused to provide my details instead of addressing my request. Honestly, it left me feeling rather uneasy.

This phone number is linked to Verisure Alarm System’s monitoring centre. If it’s a genuine call, they’ll never ask you to confirm your ID before giving you their security word and expecting you to provide yours in return. If anyone asks for your security word or personal info without sharing theirs first, it’s probably a spoofed call. Just hang up straight away and get in touch with Verisure yourself to let them know what’s happened.

verisure alarms - apparently your number gets dialled if one of their alarms goes off and they've got your contact details. it might not be your alarm at all, maybe a family member or a neighbour put your number down as a backup to get hold of if they can't answer when the alarm sounds.

I recently had a bit of a mishap with my Verisure alarm system and inadvertently set it off. They promptly got in touch to confirm if it was indeed a false alarm. To ensure everything's secure, I’m required to provide them with a unique passcode, after which they would recite a different passcode that I had established during the alarm’s installation. In the event they can’t connect with me on my primary contact number, they might attempt to reach another number I’ve provided. It's essential that anyone answering that secondary number is aware of the passcode as well. Should they fail to get in touch with anyone on the provided numbers, their protocol involves dispatching a security guard to check up on my premises. It’s quite an impressive service they offer!

Today, I received a call on both my landline and mobile from an individual claiming to represent Verisure Alarms. He was insistent on obtaining my sister's alarm passcode. When I asked him to confirm her address first, he replied that he couldn’t do so unless I provided the passcode first. I explained that I didn’t have that information and suggested he reach out to my sister directly instead. He didn’t introduce himself and his accent seemed a bit murky, somewhere between South American with a hint of North American twang. It certainly raised my suspicions. He offered no justification for needing the passcode and mentioned that my sister wasn’t picking up her phone. I decided to give her a ring, which turned out to be accurate, so I promptly left her a message to keep her in the loop.

It's now 4am on New Year's Day, and I’ve received a relentless barrage of missed calls from this number - a total of seven since 10pm last night. Curiously, not a single voicemail has been left. While I’m grateful it’s not nearest and dearest trying to reach me with some urgent tidings, the constant interruptions have robbed me of sleep. I’m now resorting to silencing my phone entirely. I find myself hesitant to pick up, suspecting these persistent calls are the work of some chancer masquerading as being from London. Yet, I’m in two minds about blocking this number outright without clearer information on what’s going on.
