Someone called me saying they were from Amazon, claiming I had an order for £1450 on my account. Since I hadn’t bought anything nearly that pricey, I rang Amazon to double-check, and of course, it was a scam. Ever since, I've been getting loads of annoying calls from all sorts of numbers, pretending to be from the tax office, Amazon, or NCE. Honestly, just block these numbers straight away - real companies don’t randomly ring you on your mobile without warning if there’s something important going on.

Got an automated call claiming to be from "Amazon" about some dodgy activity on my account, saying I'd supposedly bought an iPhone for £1400 and that my account was frozen. They kept asking me to press 1 to sort it out, or press 2 to verify or unlock, all that sort of thing. Just before that, I’d had a call from 01256 648389 with the same spiel. Had a look at my actual account and everything was absolutely fine - total scam, no doubt about it.

I got a robo call saying they were gonna take £7.99 from my bank for amazon prime. They told me to press 1 if I didn’t want the payment to go through. I just ended the call straight away since I’ve never signed up for amazon prime before. Later on, I looked up the number and it definitely isn’t linked to Amazon.

I just checked this number and it's showing up as belonging to Light and Motion Design agency based in London. The address given is Workspace Metal Box Factory, 30 Great Guildford St, London, SE1 OHS. Seems like Light and Motion are a legit and creative company for business stuff. The phone number matches perfectly too.

So over just a couple of minutes today, this bloke called Joshua rang me from three different numbers: 02038742296, 01768588541, and 01768761421. He kept trying to chat about my computer, but I made it clear I wasn’t interested in any conversation. Even though I said nothing at first, he called a couple more times, sounding more irked each time. Eventually, I said a brief couple of words, and then he stopped calling altogether. Looks like he finally understood I wasn’t biting.
