I got a call from 02038080690 and also a mobile, 07308 446339, where they left a voicemail claiming to be from HMRC. They said they were starting legal action against me for fraud. When I asked for more info, they just ended the call straight away.

Got a message left from this number. The bloke sounded Asian but was trying to talk with a British accent. He said something about me being under investigation by the tax people or whatever.

These lot have rung me three times already. They spoke with a really thick Asian accent that was proper difficult to get. This time they even left a voicemail. If HMRC were truly worried about me, they'd just show up at my place without any warning!

It was clear straight away that this was a scam, but I can’t help but feel concerned for older folks who might get really scared by the message. Hope they don’t get tricked by it, it’s just a total con.

Got a voicemail from some bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from HMRC, saying I’m facing serious allegations that could land me in jail if I don’t get back to them. Total rubbish, obviously just scammers trying to scare me.
