Got a bunch of random calls this morning from what they said were different places. Totally unsolicited and pretty annoying.

I actually enjoy these dead silent calls, always good fun messing with whoever’s on the other end. I usually just say I’m an undertaker - their reaction’s always priceless!

So, this lot managed to get through today claiming they could put an end to my annoying calls. I tried to mess about and waste their time, but they hung up on me halfway! When I tried calling them back, guess what? The number doesn’t come up at all. Typical!

I get these calls from some woman with an awful connection, claiming she’s Amy from London but with a really obvious Indian accent - it’s clear she’s fibbing. When she asks for my bank info to “renew” my kitchen appliance insurance, I just make up stuff and feed it back to her. Feels like a fair game to me. I keep a list somewhere with fake bank details that I give out, and it drives them crazy when they can’t scam me. Some might say I’m just messing about and wasting time, but honestly, I find it quite funny to mess with them. Can’t help chuckling during the calls!

They ring me up like four times daily but when I pick up, there's nothing said, and if I don't answer, no message left either. Super odd!

My old dad got a call from someone pushing those call blocker things. Even after he said he didn’t want it, they just kept on going. Really annoying!

Got a call from this number about renewing my home appliances insurance, claiming I'd get a 35% discount since I supposedly hadn't made any claims in the past year. Thing is, I actually cancelled that policy last year with the original provider. From what I’ve seen in other reviews, this number is also linked to calls about the cost of living crisis, energy deals, and a bunch of other stuff. Seems a bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent, said her name was Amelia. She told me I’d won a £40 voucher for electricity bills, then asked if I shopped at Tesco or somewhere like that. I wasn’t having any of it, told her no thanks and ended the call straight away. Definitely felt like a scam.

This 02038688581 has been ringing me non-stop, but I just ignore it. Now, it’s caused my BT Broadband to crash, so I’m stuck waiting for it to reboot. Honestly, it’s so frustrating! How am I meant to get any work done if my internet keeps going down?

They keep ringing me up even though I’ve blocked the number. Kept calling me Tom - who’s Tom, anyway? One of them was really nasty when I told them I knew what they were up to. They told me to shut up and just hung up on me. When I asked them to stop calling, they flat out said NO. I asked why, and the woman replied “because I want to.” Honestly, that was proper creepy. Can’t stand these people.

SCAM ALERT. I got told about some call blocking gadget to hook up to my phone. Cost? A whopping £249 upfront, just once. They said I could use it for 30, 40 or even 50 years! Yeah, right, like I’m gonna live that long. Doesn’t add up at all. Complete rubbish, total scam. Avoid it!

Most of the time, these calls come from an automated dialer that checks who answers before passing it to the next person, which is almost always a scammer from an Indian call centre. You often get a robotic voice telling you there’s been a charge of £300 on Amazon and £1100 from abroad, with a prompt to press 1 to cancel. Then some bloke with an Indian accent pretends to be from Visa security. If you question which card they mean, they usually get all nervous and end the call. They’re just after easy targets.

Got a call from some Indian scammers claiming I was paying £40 monthly for a drainage warranty and they wanted to lower it to £27.
