I received a call from an individual with a rather foreign accent, presumably working for a call centre. They said they represented a company I’m completely unfamiliar with and were quite insistent on having me verify my personal details. However, when I pressed for their identity, they were rather vague and clammy with the information. It all felt a bit dodgy, to be honest!

This number kept ringing me but I never picked up. Every time I blocked it, they’d call back using a slightly different number, usually just changing the last couple digits. It’s so frustrating. On the rare occasion I did pick up, I calmly asked them to remove me from their list, but no luck - they’d be back on the phone within a few hours. Now I just block and ignore without even answering.
