Over the past few months, I've received around eight calls from Skylark telling me I was involved in an accident. They claim they got my contact from some kind of RTA report, which is complete nonsense because I’ve never had an accident. I keep blocking their numbers but they always ring back from a new one. Can anyone tell me who to report this to? I'm already on the telephone preference service list.

Got a call from someone called Lydia at Skylark who said I'd been in an accident that wasn’t my fault. She asked if I’d had any trips, falls or accidents over the past couple of years. When I told her no, she sounded really annoyed and just ended the call. I’m signed up to the TPS but these annoying people still manage to ring me!

Got a call from someone pretending to be about insurance. They claimed "your files show you were in a car crash that wasn't your fault." I told them I wasn't, then they switched to asking about work accidents, medical mistakes and stuff. After me saying no loads of times, they finally said "sorry for disturbing you, we'll remove your number." Proper dodgy.

Just a heads up, I reckon that no fault car accident claim is a bit of a dodgy scam. Be careful, it’s probably not what it seems. Lots of people end up getting caught up in it without realising. Always best to double-check before you jump in.
