10 yearsGot a call from 02038089606, pretty much what the first couple of folks mentioned. They got in touch saying I was a Diageo shareholder and tried selling a bond with a fixed interest rate of 5.8% through some place called Asadia-GPM. The bloke on the phone said his name was Jacob Ramsay and phoned me twice. Told him I wasn't interested. He came across as a tad pushy, but not enough to make me feel harassed or anything.DiageoJacob Ramsay10 yearsGot calls from 02038089606, same kinda story as the one mentioned on 7/6/16. They kept talking about a £5k bond through some Asadia company, saying they’re with Pearson Chase, but i can’t find anything about this company anywhere. Feels dodgy, like a scam, but nothing concrete yet. I’m trying to check things out over in Geneva where Asadia supposedly operates, but all their contact numbers point to London! They cold called me claiming it’s about my Diageo investments. Honestly, it’s getting a bit much, feels like harassment.AsadiaPearson ChaseGenevaLondonDiageo10 yearsOh, it was just your usual call, nothing weird or unusual going on.10 yearsThis number has called me loads of times and I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. They try to pressure you into buying bonds, at least £5,000 worth, from some firm called "Belmont Wealth Management Ltd" which they say is in Switzerland but they’re actually using a London phone number. When I got the documents, the address for the bond issuer (GPM by Asadia - you won’t find anything about them online) turned out to be a Swiss vet’s clinic! It all felt very dodgy and they kept ringing non stop.
