I usually just ignore calls from numbers I don't recognise or ones that are hidden. It’s been pretty effective so far. If they really need to reach me, they can leave a voicemail and I’ll decide if I want to reply. Just so others are aware, you can actually drive up to 53 mph without getting pulled over. I always make sure to keep my speed at least 2 mph below the limit just to be safe.

Got a call from this number thrice today, some bloke asking for Mr Worrel. I told him he’d got the wrong number, then he started asking for Mrs Worrel. The guy got really rude and a bit arrogant, I told him straight he’d got the totally wrong number, and he went off on one, asking who was causing a ruckus at my place. Then he just hung up on me before I could say anything back. Proper cheeky behaviour.

Got a call saying I had an unpaid parking ticket, then like half a minute later, another call about a speeding fine but the voice was really weird. When I asked if he was serious, the bloke said “yes Ma’am” and if I didn’t pay up, I'd have to go to the city court. I barely kept a straight face before asking for the court address, saying I'd pop down right away. Guess what? The tosser just hung up. It’s a bit scary really, thinking about older people or those less savvy who might actually fall for this rubbish. People pulling stunts like this should just get proper jobs.
