Got a call from someone wanting to speak to the CEO, who hardly ever shows up at the office. I told him she wasn’t around, then he asked who handles business rates here. I said it’s probably not her and we’re fine anyway. He said they’d just hiked rates a lot, then abruptly wished me luck before slamming the phone down. Bit rude really!

I got a call from someone saying they were surveyors and asking to talk to our finance director, which we actually don’t have since our office is pretty small. They were really vague about what it was regarding and kept trying to pressure me for the number of our main office. When I just went quiet, the caller hung up on me. Seems pretty dodgy to me, I wouldn’t trust them at all.
