I got a call from someone claiming to be O2 about swapping my sim for a 5G one because of poor signal where I live. They said because the coverage has been rubbish, they’d knock some money off my bill until my contract finishes as a bit of goodwill. Then they asked me to confirm my email address, which I wasn’t happy about giving out. After I said no, they threatened to suspend my account on Friday if I didn’t comply. Didn’t trust it and refused to hand over any details. The call came from 020 3866 0444.
