Got a call earlier today from someone saying they were from Vodafone. Since I'm currently switching my mobile provider, I thought it might be important. Still, it felt a bit off so I ended the call pretty quickly. Later, I looked up the number and found out it’s actually been flagged for scamming!

Got a call from someone trying to sell me a discount on an EE account I don’t even have. They asked for my email to "confirm" my details, so I just made one up. Somehow, it actually passed their check! Then they wanted to know if I’d gotten an email from EE - I lied and said yes. Next thing, they asked for the One Time Code they claimed they needed. I called them out as a fraud and told them to buzz off. They hung up straight away!
