I was already on a long call when this number popped up. I just let it go to voicemail, but it kept ringing again and again after that. Really relieved I checked it out here before picking up. Definitely blocked now.

Received a rather dodgy call claiming to be from BT, threatening that my service would be cut off due to some purported dodgy behaviour linked to my ISP address. It was a robotic voice, droning on and urging me to hit 1 if I wanted to sort things out. Obvious scam all the way!

Got two calls today, one on my mobile and another on my landline. The landline had a recorded message saying it was BT, warning about some illegal activity linked to my internet, and that BT had already tried to reach me. It told me to press 1 to talk to a representative, else they’d cut off my phone and broadband right away. I pressed 1 but the call dropped. Bit creepy to be honest. About an hour later, everything’s still working normally. Definitely a scam. I'd say don’t press 1 if you get these, seems risky. Marking as dangerous for sure.
