I received a call purporting to be from the RCN. The conversation was all over the place, mentioning some journals and whatnot. I couldn't quite figure out if they were attempting to sell me a subscription or something else entirely. Then, out of the blue, they brought up nursing revalidation, which is quite amusing since I’m not a nurse at all! It was evident that the caller hadn’t a clue about who I was or what I did. I decided to end the call, as it certainly felt like a scam to me.

Annoying nuisance! They rang me up claiming to be from the RCN, requesting a subscription fee of £5.99 to gain access to their digital magazines and podcasts.
