On Monday 8th June, around 17:40, I noticed a missed call on my mobile from this number but didn’t catch it at the time. Later, between about 19:45 and 19:55, I rang back and a man answered with just a "hello." When I asked who was calling, since the number was unfamiliar, he went quiet and didn’t reply to any of my questions about why he’d called. Earlier that same day, at about 14:30, I’d missed another call from 020 3838 9027 - a really similar number. I rang that one back twice before making the call above and the same bloke answered both times. Just like before, when I tried to find out why they were ringing me, he went silent. I ended up hanging up on them both times.

I didn't pick up their call at first, so I rang them straight back about five minutes later. They answered but then just stayed silent for a bit before suddenly hanging up. Quite odd really.

Got a call from a London area code but there was no option to leave a voicemail. I reckon it's probably from some call centre trying the usual scams - I've had a few other calls from numbers like this before.
