I received a call today that didn’t specify the caller, but it was clearly from a call centre overseas. A chap on the other end was attempting to peddle a mobile phone offer, all the while feigning a British accent but it was fairly evident that it wasn't genuine. It was an obvious scam, clearly aimed at getting into your wallet.

I received a rather dubious call from someone claiming to be "David," supposedly from England. However, his accent strongly suggested otherwise, more aligned with an Indian background. He was intent on persuading me to upgrade my mobile, but he seemed deaf to my repeated refusals. After I firmly said goodbye, he bombarded me with calls from various numbers in quick succession. His initial attempt was from 01116 5000262, then I was pestered by 01269 333 025, followed by 01268 922 021, and lastly, this suspicious London number, 0203 8404 760. Quite the relentless tactic!
