A person rang me from 02038399986 claiming to be from Microsoft, saying my account was compromised and that I should access my computer immediately. I didn’t agree and instead asked for her identification so that a mate who knows about computers could check it out and ring her later. She insisted that not logging in meant I was helping hackers and threatened to lock my account. She kept going on but wouldn’t tell me her name, only giving me a Microsoft license number that seemed off. I found the number via 1471 before calling back.
