Got a call from 02038390229 earlier today. The guy had a really strong foreign accent and was rattling off some company name so fast I could barely catch it. He started asking if I’d tried to make a payment on my card. That raised alarm bells instantly so I just cut him off and blocked the number. Watch out for these 020 numbers - even though they sound local, this wasn’t from London at all, definitely somewhere overseas.

I reckon this is one of those money scams. The caller had a thick foreign accent and spoke super quickly, plus the phone line was terrible quality.
