I gave some money to the Syrian Appeal through SMS, but now my phone won’t stop ringing with calls. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever donate that way again, apart from maybe for the BBC appeals. It’s a shame because whenever you try to do something good, it just turns into a hassle with all the constant calling.
