A woman called claiming to be from some kind of "registrations department," but she didn't specify which one. As a newcomer running my shop, I apparently need to register my account with an energy provider of my choice, or so she suggests. However, we already established everything with the energy supplier when we moved in, and direct debits are being processed monthly. I'm at a loss as to what needs registering again. I've had enough-blocked her number!

I received a rather dodgy call from someone posing as my energy provider, claiming he was in charge of my meter readings. He had the audacity to request my billing details and meter figures! Clearly, this was a phishing attempt. Do not fall for this trickster's ruse! Stay vigilant!
