At the same time, there was this really loud video blaring out "urgent action needed, your PC is in danger" on repeat, which was really confusing and stressful. Spoke with British Gas and I didn’t say I’d leave any feedback, yet there was a message waiting not long after. Bit pointless really, because if it’s on voicemail, you can’t really respond directly. Seems like a bit of a time waster for all involved!

Got a call from BG about a bill, spoke with a really nice young woman who was quite helpful. I told her I don’t do surveys and gave my honest opinion. She was very polite and tried to assist. Honestly, BG needs to fix their billing system instead of bothering folks for no reason.

Just a quick one - I had rung British Gas about my phone bill to give them the right meter readings. The rep I spoke to, who was based in South Africa, mentioned I’d get a call later for a brief survey and asked if I could keep my answers upbeat. Unfortunately, I missed the call from this number. I received a call from 02038301215 shortly after I raised a query with British Gas regarding the non-payment of my recent gas bill. Just to clarify, my bill was settled on the 16th of April. This entire situation has left me quite on edge, but luckily, I’ve retained my payment receipt, which I intend to present to the authorities in Scotland if necessary.

I contacted British Gas for some assistance and got really good support. After that, I received a call which turned out to be a survey asking about my experience. I gave positive feedback since the service was excellent. The call seemed legit. However, as we know, scammers can copy numbers too, so better be cautious if anything feels off.

Like others have said, this is an automatic survey call from British Gas after I phoned them to complain. They dont give you the chance to opt out of the survey while you’re on the call. Easiest thing to do is just block the number and maybe report BG to Ofcom for making unwanted calls without permission.
