Its a refreshment to get a call about an accident I never had this year or even last year. When they asked when it happend, I told them it was hard to pin down, maybe around midnight on December 31st 2017, or possibly 00:00 on January 1st 2018. So which year is it exactly? Ended up being a win for me, as the caller just ended the call.

Someone rang me about a car crash that supposedly wasn’t my fault. I told them “really, it wasn’t anyone’s fault.” They asked “what actually happened?” So I said I was driving my sporty convertible when a meteorite smacked me on the head, making me crash. Just got a call from this number, some Aussie lady said it was about a car crash i had, i pretended to be interested. She said she’d transfer me to another person, then an Aussie bloke came on the line. I kept going with it, then told him a fireman had to chop my roof off - right after that, he hung up. Got a call from 020 3813 9897 (a London number). The guy used my name and claimed to be from ‘EMS’. There was loads of background noise, and his accent was pretty thick so might’ve misheard. He said they’d got my details about a car crash (I don’t even own a car!). When I tried to tell him about GDPR rules and said they should delete my info, he just cut me off! ;-)

They left a voicemail saying "it's nothing to be concerned about" and that they'd ring me back shortly! Yeah, I seriously doubt that!
