The signal was rubbish every time and they just kept rattling on without giving me a chance to speak. The first call they mentioned "life emissions" but their accent was so thick I couldn't make much out. Sounds dodgy to me, probably a scam.

My mum picked up the phone and said the bloke sounded like he was from London, calling about "financial advice". I don't think it was from any of my regular banks or brokers, so I'm guessing it was probably a scam. Not sure who it was exactly though.
