I received a call from this number not long ago. The caller mentioned that my washing machine's breakdown protection was up for renewal at a cost of £9.99 each month. Given that my appliance is merely five months old and still covered by warranty, I found it rather odd! I said I would consider it and promptly hung up.

Received a call claiming to be from Domestic and General, concerning a washing machine policy that, supposedly, is about to expire tomorrow. The chap had the cheek to use an old address of mine-one I haven’t lived at in ages! Once I politely declined to renew the policy, he simply hung up on me! I attempted to return the call, but it was impossible to get through. After rummaging through my paperwork, I realised I've never held such a policy at all!
