They kept asking for someone who don’t live at this number and when I said so and told them to take me off their list, they said I was being rude. Honestly, whatever company they are needs reporting to Ofcom for this.

Got a call from some people claiming they were from the national lottery saying I'd won something on the EuroMillions, but they called me by a completely different name. I told them that wasn’t me and when she asked for my name, I didn’t give it. Blocked the number straight away.

In the last three days, I've gotten about 40 missed calls from folks saying they're from a court concerning fraud. I asked for a name verification but they said they couldn't provide it 'cause of data protection. When they asked for my name, I told them I wasn’t giving it out for the same reason and put the phone down. Couple minutes later, another call popped up, so I blocked that number. Now it seems they’re ringing loads of different numbers, and I reckon I’ve blocked at least six different ones just today.

I just missed a call from this number then looked it up and found this page - cheers to everyone for the feedback. I've put the number on my block list now. I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service and honestly, since joining, these irritating calls have really cut down. Normally I don't pick up unknown numbers, but if I do and I mention I'm on the TPS, they always hang up immediately since it's against the rules!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the Paris Advice Company, mentioning a car accident I supposedly had (which I definitely didn’t). She said they got info from the “Road Traffic Accident Department.” When I asked why I couldn’t find their company on Google, she said they were located at 9 Ramsdale Rd, London SW17 9BP. Then, when I asked her to explain what this Road Traffic Accident Department was, she just hung up. Pretty obvious this was dodgy, so I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a missed call from this number earlier today, looked it up and found this site. I keep getting calls about some kind of 'accident' thing, and if I've got nothing better to do I usually humour them. Caller: I understand you've been in an accident. Me: Wow, that was fast, it only happened yesterday. Caller: Can you verify your car registration? Me: I’m not sure what it is. Caller: Could you step outside and have a look? Me: Sorry, I’ve broken both legs. And it goes on like that.

They said they were "Terrace Advice" and claimed to have my info from the "road traffic and accident department." But when I asked for more details, they admitted it wasn’t actually a government office, just a private company using an automated system with a chatbot. It seems they try to get you to admit you’ve had a car accident, then pass you on to a call centre (probably in India, though they kept insisting they were based in London).
