I didn't quite catch the firm's name, but when I asked who it was, she just said something like "call blocking service." I called her out and told her she was trying to scam me, and then she just hung up on me. Not really shocked by that at all.

They said they were from a Callblocking Service but started shouting stuff like "your family’s in danger" which honestly felt like a scare tactic. As soon as I told them I wasn’t interested and was going to block their number, they carried on yelling down the phone. Needless to say, I blocked em straight away.

Somebody rang claiming to be from a government call protection squad, saying my system was out of date. When I said I usually just block numbers through my phone, they told me that wasn’t the proper method. I just thanked them for the heads-up and ended the call.

I got a call from some bloke with a weird accent claiming he was with the Call Blocker Service, said they could stop all those annoying calls. I just ended it straight away.

Some bloke rang up saying he was from my internet company, telling me my connection was running slower than normal. The guy had quite a strong Asian accent. Total scam, I'd say!
