I had a rather unpleasant encounter with a rather dim-witted individual claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, insisting that I owed money for a contract. He introduced himself as Andrew, but honestly, I’d bet my last penny that wasn't his real name. The bloke could barely string a sentence together in English! Clearly, a scam if I've ever seen one.
