I got a call from a number almost identical to this one, and it was definitely one of those scam attempts. The woman on the line introduced herself as Christine, and right away I knew something was off, probably because of her accent.

I'm pretty sure this number is linked to some dodgy call centre in India, pretending to be from Manchester. The person on the other end was offering quick loans but it was clear from the start it was a scam to get my bank info. Honestly, I think this number should defo be looked into because it seems part of a big scam ring operating in India, preying on folks here in the West.

No one spoke on the other end, just one of those pointless cold calls.

I had a rather alarming call from this number, claiming they could offer me a loan of £5,000. The chap on the line asked if I wanted that amount, and when I suggested £5,500 instead, he cheerfully agreed. However, he then insisted that I make a so-called ‘initial payment’ before I could actually receive any funds. This immediately raised a red flag for me, as it reminded me of a previous scam operation by a company called UCLenders, which swindled me out of £270. I expressed my doubts and promptly ended the conversation. Let me stress this: please exercise caution! Never part with any money before securing your loan, as they may very well deduct it from what they're supposedly lending you. Stay vigilant!

I had a rather dubious phone call from this number claiming I was eligible for a £5000 loan. The chap on the other end asked if that figure suited me, and I cheekily responded with £5500. He agreed but insisted that I'd need to pay a first instalment before I could access the loan. It all sounded eerily reminiscent of my past experience with a firm called UCLenders, who managed to swindle me out of £270. I expressed my distrust and promptly ended the call. I urge everyone to exercise extreme caution; never part with any cash before securing your loan, as they have a nasty habit of deducting it from the total amount you’re meant to receive.

Got a call from this number right at the crack of dawn asking about some property details. Thing is, I don’t have any property since I’m just renting. Something about it seemed off to me.

Got a call from these lot who are clearly some dodgy call centre based in India. They were messing about, changing their numbers to look like they were calling local in the UK. Best to just block them and report straight away.
