7 yearsOn 21st August 2019 at 9:41am, this number gave me a ring. Luckily, I use Truecaller which filtered the call, and they ended up hanging up. They haven’t called back in the past few months, so I’m guessing I’m off their list now. If you get loads of spam or telemarketing calls, I’d definitely suggest using Truecaller. Also really glad this site is around to check out who’s been calling.Truecall7 yearsGot a call from some supposed breakdown cover people claiming it was from Sky - typical, sounded like it was those Indian scammers again! Honestly, they never stop ringing from loads of different companies. I was so gobsmacked I don’t even remember exactly what I told them, but it wasn’t polite I can tell you that. It’s really scary for older folks or anyone who tends to believe what these lot say. Proper nasty business, I’m fed up with it all.Sky7 yearsI never pick up calls from numbers I don’t know, always figured they’d leave a voicemail if it’s important. Proper annoying, these scam calls!TalkTalk7 yearssome bloke named bob rang me up saying it was to do with my sky box, which i don’t even own. then he asked what i pay for my insurance cover, which obviously isn’t a thing. i made up £1000 as an answer. he said no, just for the breakdown cover, and again i said £1000. at that point he insulted me, saying i had no brain and was just covering stuff up. the funny thing is, i’m not daft, knew exactly what he was doing, and just turned it around for a bit of a laugh.BobSky7 yearsSo, this bloke called me claiming to be from “sky services” saying my warranty was expired and asked if I was having any problems with my sky box.
