Wasn’t too sure if it was legit or just some telemarketer pretending to be from a big company. Just thought I’d share in case anyone else gets a call like that!

On 13th November, I flagged a call about BITCOINS. Today, the same number tried ringing me again, but thankfully it got blocked straight away. It popped up on my blocked calls log.

I got a ring from some bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from the HMRC, saying I owed £3000 in tax evasion. When I told him I couldn’t pay, he threatened to come and arrest me within a day. I ended up messing about with them, asking daft questions just for laughs!

My missus got a call from some automated voice claiming she owed tax and that the police would come for her soon. They said they were from HMRC and demanded she pay 700 quid immediately or she'd be arrested in the next hour. Total scam of course, so we just blocked the number straight away.
