I was inquiring about a different individual when the caller insisted I had dialled incorrectly. Yet, when I confirmed this, they dismissed my words, expressing disbelief and abruptly severing the call. It was quite bothersome-this person, who sounded foreign, was rather rude and impolite. What’s more, they relentlessly rang my phone every single day for a fortnight!

I received a call from this number earlier, and the individual on the line inquired if I was indeed the person they were seeking. I confirmed my name, and then she proceeded to mention that she was calling from Sky regarding some equipment issues. She then repeated my name and listed an address that, while familiar, isn’t mine at all. When I informed her that I didn’t live there, she queried whether I had relocated. I assured her I hadn’t moved in nearly thirty years and also mentioned that I’m not a Sky customer. She suggested there must have been a mix-up with information from their head office. Curious, I decided to research the number I was called from, but nothing linked it to Sky.
