Best to not answer cuz they try to copy your voice to get into your accounts. Most times they just drop the call as soon as you say hi. Thats their trick and then they end the call. I’ve been messing with them when they ring by talking rubbish and they just hang up or make weird noises down the phone haha.

Got loads of calls off this number, about a year back got the same type of calls pretending to be from "EDF". I phoned EDF direct and they told me it’s a scam. They gave me a password for our account and said if the caller can't give you that password then they’re not EDF. Tried it with this lot today, and it actually worked!

I received a missed call from this number and noticed a voicemail left behind. However, the message lasted just 2 seconds and was filled with a lot of background interference. This number has been incessantly ringing us multiple times throughout the day, every single day. Each time we pick up, it's just silence accompanied by the background clatter of a call centre. However, today was different; I actually managed to reach a human! He introduced himself as 'Gary' and claimed to be calling from E.ON regarding our electric service. I explained that the landlord handles that side of things, but as for the phone line, that's strictly mine. He then insisted on knowing the landlord's name. In the end, I demanded that they remove my number from their list or I’d escalate the matter to OFCOM (or whatever it's called). His response? A curt 'have a nice day' before he hung up. I’ve no doubt they’ll be back with more calls.

Ever since I switched to this phone, all the annoying calls have stopped coming through. In just the past couple of days, it’s blocked about 20 calls from them.

Utterly fraudulent! I received a call from an Asian gentleman who wouldn’t disclose his identity and was rambling incoherently about something to do with energy! He abruptly cut the line without further ado.

Just ignore it, keeps ringin my work line. They dont listen when you say no, proper rude and annoying. I tried calling them back to sort it out but they dont pick up. Better not answer if this number shows up.

They keep ringing almost daily, but we never pick up. Now we’ve figured out who they are, though they always let the phone ring forever before hanging up.

I’ve received countless calls from this number at all sorts of odd times, particularly around dinner time, post 5:30pm. Most of the time, I simply informed the caller that I don't handle any business over the phone and promptly disconnected. However, today I decided to inquire a bit further. When I asked the chap with the foreign accent which company he was representing, he had the audacity to say he was calling on behalf of EDF. I firmly told him that was a no-go and that I'd be blocking his number. That should do the trick!

This number rings me every single day, been at it for around three months now. I’ve got all the calls logged on my phone. The people on the other end are so rude, pushy, and just plain arrogant. It’s definitely some kind of scam trying to switch your electricity provider. They kept insisting I was with EON, which I’m not. Properly annoying and ridiculous. Best to just ignore it.

I've been receiving calls from this number daily throughout the week, and they rang me twice just yesterday. They’re masquerading as representatives from Scottish Power, supposedly checking in about my energy contract renewal. Naturally, I contacted Scottish Power directly, and they assured me that these callers are merely fishing for personal details related to my energy account or meter number, all in an effort to switch my account to another provider without my consent. It’s a complete scam!

Positive Energy. They also pretended to be from British Gas which was a bit odd. Seem to be run by a bunch of muppets. Had a long chat with them at my work today. First spoke to someone called Samir, then got passed on to a Manager named Michael, then a Branch Manager called John. Told them we only have gas, no electricity. Asked if the gas was ‘high speed’ because we use it to run our computers. They said yes, and that our lights would be just as bright. Gave them the name Mr Zebra and they said they’ll ring me back tomorrow at 5:30, when the office will be empty anyway.

I got a call from 02038073548 earlier today. I didn’t pick up and it went to voicemail. No message was left and the call just ended. I looked up the number and found this info here. Glad I checked the comments!

Got one silent call on 15th June, had background noise that sounded like some sort of radio show. Then on 16th June got two calls from a guy with an Asian accent, he said “Hello, I’m Alex. How are you today?” I just ended the call. Later he rang again and just kept saying hello a few times, and then he hung up when I didn’t answer back. Seems like a scam to me. Really annoying, especially as I’m registered with the TPS.

Received a call purporting to be from Co-operative Energy. When I inquired about their website, there was a noticeable delay in locating it. We're registered with the Telephone Preference Service and I intend to lodge a complaint about them.

They phoned me again today, which happens nearly every day. When I called them out on trying to scam me, they said they'd ring from a different number. Sure enough, they rang right back from that number and started shouting horrible insults at me before slamming the phone down. Really awful experience. Definitely report them if you get the chance.

This number has been ringing me up nearly every day for ages. They say they’re from different energy firms and say they’re the ones supplying me. They’re really pushy and quite rude, some might even call it harassment, but I’m not someone who’s easily bothered by that.

Had loads of calls from this bloke over the past few weeks, an Indian guy claiming he's from the electricity company. When I asked who my supplier was, he said N Power, which is wrong. Told him I’m on the TPS and I already told him last week to stop calling. Asked him to take my number off their list as he’s breaking the rules. He just said he’ll ring again next week. Told him again not to call, but he still said he’d be back next week. After going in circles with the same chat, I just hung up. Watch out!
