I'm based in Belgium and just got a call today from this number. Since I had no idea who it was, I asked and the bloke, sounded like a young guy, said "well obviously we don’t know each other" then asked if I do any trading. I said no and he just ended the call straight away! Anyone know what this number is about? Should I be worried or anything sketchy?

I asked them how they got my number, then they just went quiet and ended the call - number was 020 3807 0307.

Here’s what I usually do. I answer the call, say hi, let them speak for a bit then I hit unpause on the telly. I just leave the phone on the table and listen to them going, “Hello? Hello?” before they get frustrated and hang up pretty quick.

This number rang me four times in half a minute. The fourth time I picked up, I said hello twice but no one replied for like 20 seconds. Probably some dodgy call centre trying to pull a scam or something. I was at work so I didn’t focus much, but the constant ringing was really annoying. Honestly, just block the number and ignore it, they'll get the hint eventually.

This number kept ringing me multiple times a day, like 2 or 3 calls daily, so I finally picked up. Some woman was trying to pitch me a way to earn money online. If it’s so brilliant, why isn’t she doing it herself instead of trying to teach me? I said nicely I wasn’t interested, but she just wouldn’t give up, kept asking weird stuff like “Why don’t you want to make money?” Eventually, I told her off proper, told her to jog on, but she just kept going on, asking “Why do you tell me that?” As if it wasn’t clear enough. She then said she’d remove me from their list, but I bet I’ll get another call soon. She had a foreign accent, by the way.
