Today, I got a call from a guy speaking with a strong Asian accent, but honestly, most of what he said sounded like nonsense. I could barely catch one word out of every three. After the call, I checked online and found quite a few people saying this might be some kind of scam.

Terrible line quality, bloke had an Asian accent and said he was from "Phonecall" or summat similar. Asked where he got my digits, he said some database. Told him straight up he was a scammer, he kept denying it. Tried going on about some network issue. I threatened to report him to the coppers. Honestly, doubt he’s even calling from London, sounded like an Indian call centre buzzing in the background. Number’s blocked now.

Got a call from this number just now, but the background noise was so loud I couldnt make out what they were saying. All I caught was that it was some kind of sales call with loads of crackling and banging noises.
