At exactly 5.58pm on the 24th of June 2021, my mobile buzzed with a call from 020 3775 1132. Seeing that the number had the 020 area code, I just dismissed it straight away since I don’t really know anyone in London who’d be ringing me. It felt a bit dodgy, so I figured it was probably just some kind of scam.

At least three times daily, I receive calls from 020 3775 but the last four numbers always change! I just end up blocking and ignoring them. Wish there was a way to block all calls starting with those first 7 digits, would save so much hassle!

I finally picked up after getting about 17 calls over the last 3 days! The person said they were from Carphone Warehouse.

This number rings me like 3 times every day, always starts with the same seven digits but the last four keep changing. Seems dodgy to me, especially since loads of folks are saying it’s a scam. Would be odd if it wasn’t, right? I never pick up and wouldn’t suggest anyone else does either.
