Hey everyone, this number rang me just a few mins ago. I picked up and the bloke started asking how I was. I asked who it was, and then he mentioned something about a car crash, which I've never been involved in. I’ve blocked the number now. I really can’t stand these calls. Lately, I’ve been getting loads of them every week. Proper annoying!

Just got a call, showed up as a London number with a woman speaking in a strange accent. I could barely hear her so I asked who she was and why she was calling from London. She asked if I'd had a car accident in the past two years, I said no and she hung up. Blocked the number but I’m sure they’ll try again from another. How are these call centres getting our numbers anyway? This is my mobile, my landline’s already got a call blocker. Seems like some firm we’ve shared our info with is selling it on.

Why do these scam calls keep coming with no action taken? I get loads every single week and it’s so annoying, wastes loads of time and could be really risky for people who are more vulnerable. Got a dodgy call today, sounded like a scam right from the start. The lady on the line spoke so fast I couldn’t catch half of what she said. She claimed to be from some outfit - had to ask a couple of times before she finally said something like Accident Advice or some nonsense like that. When I asked straight up if she was trying to scam me, she just dodged the question and kept pestering if I’d had any accidents recently. Told her to answer me first, she said no, not scamming. I asked if she even knew my name. Predictably, no. So I told her to do one and find a real job. She shot back with “you too.” I said yeah, I do, unlike someone who calls random people trying to con info for cash. Then she just hung up on me. Honestly, it’s kind of fun turning the tables on these muppets wasting your time. You should give it a go, it brightens the day! Ha ha ha. - caller: scam.
