Got a call at my work earlier with the usual script. I told them the boss wasn’t around so I could double-check the number. I’m with EDF, and when I called them myself, they said any work on my meter would only be arranged through EDF, not some random company. Plus, EDF’s customer service always speaks English, so something felt off.
