I got a message saying I missed a call, so I looked up the number and turns out it was a scam. Definitely no way I would’ve picked up that call.

So I got a call from this number tonight tryin to offer me a deal on my EE contract. Problem is, I don’t even have EE, plus it’s a work phone anyway. Then they asked if someone else at the house could chat instead. I said nope, no one around to talk. They kept asking when would be a good time to call back though. Ended up telling them I ain't interested and just hung up.

We keep getting about ten calls a day on two different mobiles from someone trying to flog data, definitely not O2. All the numbers trace back to London and one particular phone provider. Some calls have even been routed through places like Tiverton and Scotland. It’s all dodgy, total scams.

Got a call from a London number so I picked up since I’ve got an appointment in London next week. A woman with a foreign accent said she was from O2 and was checking my contract, and she even knew my name. I told her I’d just pop into the nearest store instead. I’ve blocked that number now. Oddly, about half an hour before, I’d received a call from a Birmingham number which I also blocked straight away.

Got a call from what looked like a scam.

Some lady rang me up with a funny accent, going on about a claim I supposedly hadn't put in for my appliance insurance. She couldn't even say what brand of appliances we have. I told her straight up that I hadn't made any claim since I don’t have insurance with them in the first place.
