Today, I finally picked up a call from this number that rings me every single day. The person asked if I was Mr Blaser (which I am), and then said it was EDF calling. Right after that, he just hung up. Normally, I just let the phone ring and don’t bother answering.

Been getting calls from this number all the time. Every single time it's dead silent. Fingers crossed they’re not trying to steal any dosh.

I keep getting calls from this company about "boiler grants" - either PBC or PVC, can't quite recall. So annoying because I've already told them we don't even have a boiler! They totally ignore the TPS and keep ringing anyway. Honestly, not the brightest, are they?

This number has phoned us around half a dozen times. Every time we pick up, they just hang up. The last couple of calls we actually told them to stop ringing, but I guess they didn’t get the message.

Since 16th March 2016, I've been getting calls about boilers from a firm called BVC. I told them my place is rented, but they kept ringing anyway on 23rd March, 30th March, 1st April, 4th April and 5th April. Honestly, I wish they understood what 'rented' means before calling me that much! - caller: BVC

Just got another one of them cold calls from some dodgy 'government' lot saying I need to replace my central heating boiler. Total scam, watch out!

Got a call two times within 4 hours, both times dead silence, didn’t say a word. When I tried ringing back, it said the number wasn’t recognised. Very odd.

Just a quick reminder to pick up some milk on your way back. Got a call from 02037697230.

Got hit with loads of SILENT calls - around 8 times in just two days - on my TPS-listed landline from a totally unknown, non-geographic number. So frustrating!! Oh, and by the way, John set me straight: 0203 has actually been a London prefix since 2000. Cheers for that. I read somewhere that 0203 numbers can be rented for about £3 a month by just about anyone worldwide, which scammers use to make themselves look local to London. (Check this out: www.lovemoney.com/news/28892) Anyway, I’m reporting every single SILENT or scam call to OfCom through http://consumers.ofcom.org.uk/complain/phone-and-broadband-complaints/privacy . Hopefully with enough complaints, OfCom will step in and get rid of these nuisance calls!

I've been bombarded with silent calls - a staggering eight times in just two days! All from a mysterious number not linked to any specific location, ringing my TPS-registered landline. Honestly, it's infuriating! I had a bit of a learning curve, too; turns out, as pointed out by a chap named "John" on WhoCalledMe.com, that the 0203 prefix has indeed been part of the London area since the year 2000 - cheers for that info! It seems these 0203 numbers can be picked up for around £3 a month, allowing dubious characters to masquerade as being based in London, which is just rotten (check out www.lovemoney.com/news/28892 for the full rundown). I've decided to report every single silent or dodgy call I receive to Ofcom via their complaint portal at http://consumers.ofcom.org.uk/complain/phone-and-broadband-complaints/privacy. If we keep submitting complaints, Ofcom might finally take action and get rid of these pests!

Twice today the phone rung but when I picked up, there wasn’t anyone on the other end.

My elderly mum has been getting calls from this number nonstop, like about six times daily! It's really annoying and I wish they'd stop bothering her so much.
