10 yearsReceived a call claiming to assist with a PPI refund and they offered iTunes vouchers as compensation. Complete con!iTunes10 yearsReceived a call earlier claiming we’d hit the jackpot with a settlement. The line was all over the place, very suspect. They mentioned sending someone over, asking for a ten per cent cut of whatever we were supposedly owed. One chap insisted on cash, while another insisted on a cheque. Oddly enough, by the evening, the number was showing as not in service. Quite the shifty business, if you ask me.10 yearsBeware, this number is a scam! I received a call from a company claiming to be Plains Advisory Group, and they insisted they had sorted out my PPI claim. The catch? I needed to purchase £375 worth of iTunes or Paysafe vouchers from my local shop. They wanted me to provide them with the codes over the phone, promising that once I did, they'd send the funds directly to my address via either FedEx or Royal Mail, taking a 10% slice for themselves. The individuals I spoke with had distinctly Indian accents but introduced themselves with very British names-Melvin Hamilton and Christine Clarke. They've called me multiple times over the last few months about my claim, but after today's conversation, everything felt exceedingly dubious. I decided to do a quick search on the number and, to my relief, discovered this site. I certainly won’t be responding to their calls any longer!Plains Advisory GroupFedExRoyal MailMelvin HamiltonChristine Clarke10 yearsI received a call earlier today regarding a so-called voucher, but it felt far too good to be genuine, so I decided to pass on it.10 yearsI received a call claiming that I'd bagged a PPI payout - one that’s currently in progress, mind you - so naturally, I fell for it. They urged me to purchase Paysafe vouchers worth £375, saying a FedEx courier would ring me up with my cash in tow, and I was supposed to hand over those vouchers to them. To my dismay, nobody ever contacted me! Instead, the funds vanished from my Paysafe account and were transferred to WHG International Ltd. I've since reported this dodgy affair to the authorities.FedExPaysafeWHG International Ltd10 yearsI've just received a rather dubious call from this number claiming I've hit the jackpot with a PPI claim. They even mentioned that someone will be popping round to deliver the cash to my doorstep!Submit Your Own Report (020 3769 5976)
