I got a call from some outfit calling themselves Plains Advisory Group, claiming they’d sorted my PPI claim. They told me to buy £375 worth of ITUNES or Paysafe vouchers from a nearby shop and then read out the codes over the phone. They promised that once I’d done that, they'd post the claim money to me via FedEx or Royal Mail, keeping just 10% as their fee. The people I spoke with had strong Indian accents but used very English names like Melvin Hamilton and Christine Clarke. They’d called me several times over a few months, giving updates about my claim. After chatting to them today, something felt off, so I looked up the number online and stumbled upon this site.
