Phone number ☎️ 02037695528 👆 is reported as a persistent nuisance caller associated with multiple scams. I got a call from this number just now, the guy's English was awful. I reckon he found my number on CV Library because he mentioned my job and was trying to sell me a year-long gig in Germany - sounded way too good to be real.

Got a call a sec ago from 02037695528, the person on the line said something beginning with "British" but I couldn’t catch the rest properly because of his thick accent. He asked me to spare just half a minute for a survey or some kind of feedback but I declined. Then, out of nowhere, he rattled off my phone number and postcode perfectly. I never gave him any details, so this really creeped me out. How on earth did he get hold of all that?

They've been at it with me too. Got a call today, the 11th of April, around 10 in the morning, and also a week ago. Kept asking for the person who owned this number like ten years back. Wouldn't take no for an answer, kept insisting on speaking to me. Such a pain.

It's gotten really worrying now, not just annoying. They ring me nearly every day, often a couple of times a day. When I pick up, it's either dead silence or they just hang up straight away. Other times they try to get me to give out my info - like my name, address or phone number - but clearly, they already know all that stuff!

This morning around 10:10 (25th March 2015), I got a call that was silent at first. Then some bloke with an Asian accent asked for 'Claire Painter', who used to live here but moved out like 7 years ago. I told him she doesn’t live here anymore, and he asked if I was the owner of the number. When I said I didn’t want any sales calls, he just kept talking, so I ended up hanging up on him.

I've been getting calls from an Asian guy saying he can stop nuisance calls for £49 a year. He asked for my bank info, but I told him straight up I wasn't interested and wanted to be removed from whatever list he had. Instead of backing off, he kept arguing and insisted that the only way to stop the calls was by handing over my bank details. I said no and ended the call. He rings 2 or 3 times every day now, so I've stopped picking up.

Had a call earlier today from this number claiming it was about the Telephone Preference Service to block scam calls! Then the person tried to trick me into giving my visa info. I just hung up straight away. It's really frustrating, as we keep getting these fake calls multiple times daily, each with some different excuse and usually foreign accents. It’s worrying especially for elderly or vulnerable folk who might fall for it. Someone really should step in and put an end to these nonsense calls.

Got a call today just after midday, they said they were from the Telephone Preference Service to help block nuisance calls. They knew my full name, address, phone number, and even mentioned an old credit card number I’d cancelled ages ago. Although they said the service was free, they tried to get me to hand over my card details - I didn’t go for it. They also made it seem like they were connected to BT, which definitely wasn’t true. This was about the fourth time someone in our house has had one of these calls over the last week.

I got a call from the same number a few times but no one said anything, so I just ended the call. I’ve also had calls telling me I supposedly registered for the telephone preference scheme and now owe £49.00. When I told them it’s supposed to be free, they just hung up. These calls usually come from an overseas number.

Got a call from this number and it seemed pretty much the same as what others said. The person asked loads of stuff and wanted to check the expiry date on my Visa Debit card, but when I asked which bank, they couldn’t say. They said they were from something like Telephone Reference Management, but it was hard to catch becuase of a strong Indian accent.

I got a call from an Indian guy claiming to be from BT. He actually knew my full name and address, even mentioned that I pay my BT bill by direct debit. He said he was from some call blocking service and wanted to check the expiry date on the card they supposedly had for me. The bloke kept pushing, and when he realised I wasn’t giving in, he handed me over to his “manager,” a woman also of Asian origin, who kept trying to put me at ease. I pointed out that they hadn't even asked for any password, but they just brushed it off and carried on. It really felt creepy how much info they had on me before I said a word.

This number rings me pretty much daily... usually when I pick up, the person just drops the call straight away. On the rare occasion they actually talk, it turns out to be some sort of survey. I always tell them I’m not interested in doing phone surveys, but they cut me off before I can finish explaining. I’m 67 with a heart problem, so I really don’t need this nonstop bothering. I never gave them permission to call me, so what right do they have to keep pestering me like this?

This number rang me up and a bloke with a strong Asian accent said he was from Consumer Opinions. I told him I wasn’t bothered and just ended the call. Not long after, another guy with a similar accent rang, claiming to be from Microsoft Windows Support. He asked if I knew my PC had issues, to which I said no, and he told me I needed to turn it on right away. I said no thanks, I knew it was a scam. He insisted it wasn’t and that lots of people feel the same way. I told him again, no interest, and hung up. Then, just about ten minutes later, yet another Asian man from Consumer Opinions called. I reminded him I’d already said I wasn’t interested and ended it straight away. They’re quite persistent, aren’t they?

This number keeps ringing me every day and every time I answer, there's nobody there, they just hang up. We're both in our 80s and really want these calls to stop. It’s not like some scam trying to get credit card info, just these annoying silent calls.

It sounded like a bloke from India who rang me claiming to be from the UK’s phone preference service. Since my number is ex-directory, I’ve had it only a month, and already signed up to the telephone preference service here in the UK, I reckon my info’s been compromised. I’ve had dealings with call centres in India on another line, so maybe that’s where the leaks are coming through. Just watch what info you give out to any call centre - your details might get shared or sold on.

This number rang me at 7 in the morning, no one said a word. I've seen this number pop up before, and honestly, it's just really annoying.

Got a call bright and early at about 7:30 am from some boastful Asian bloke claiming to be from Microsoft Support. As soon as I tried to tell him to quit with his rubbish scam, he kept interrupting me, talking over everything I said, and then just hung up on me. Then, about an hour and a half later, the same number called me back but there was nothing but silence on the line.

Somebody rang me saying they were from the Telephone Preference Service, claiming they could block calls both in the UK and abroad. They wanted a little yearly fee and asked for my card details. To "prove" their service, they told me to hang up and then get an outside line. But they stayed connected and phoned me back minutes later. I didn’t pick up, and once they hung up, I used the option to block the last caller.

This morning at 7am (16th December), I received a call from this number which I decided to disregard. The frequency of their calls ramped up throughout the morning. When I finally picked up one of the calls, I confronted the bloke on the other end, insisting he ceases his incessant ringing. He introduced himself as Alex and proceeded to argue with me, arrogantly claiming he would carry on calling at all hours-every minute, every day, for an entire year. He seemed to revel in my distress, threatening to make it utterly impossible for me to avoid his incessant calls. After hanging up, he bombarded me with calls in rapid succession over the next hour. In a fit of frustration, I reached out to BT to report what felt like harassment in my own home. Regrettably, they informed me this individual was not within their jurisdiction and couldn’t assist me. I learned that the caller was linked to a service provider based in Dublin called DIDwwislandltd. I then contacted the police, but they also conveyed their inability to intervene with these calls. Ultimately, I was left with little choice but to change my phone number entirely. This situation is utterly intolerable. I’m registered with a caller preference service; however, they either cannot or refuse to address such nuisances. It appears these scammers are simply beyond reach.

I got five calls in just an hour and a half, each time a different person trying to tell me my computer was full of viruses and they could fix it if I let them in. Honestly, do they take me for a mug?

Got a ring from this number a short while ago. Classic Windows Tech Support con. The bloke tried to prove he was legit by saying he knew my PC’s unique ID. He rattled off a number and told me how to pull it up. Turns out it’s the same on every Windows machine - totally generic. He said his name was James, but I wasn’t buying it. When I asked what his mum calls him, he joked back with “Bond!” Like I’m meant to believe this is some new James Bond movie plot?! He claimed to be living near Victoria Station in London on Victoria Street, but he didn’t sound anything like a Londoner.

Got a call on 12/11 at about 5:45 pm from someone with an Asian accent. They asked if I was Mrs E F, but as soon as I said I wasn’t and asked who they were, the phone just clicked off. Bit rude if you ask me!

In the space of just an hour, I received two calls from this number. The first time, there was a rather abrupt ‘goodbye’ from a recorded voice, while the second call left me waiting in silence until I decided to end it. Curious about the identity of the caller, I thought it prudent to look up 02037695528, only to discover that it isn't tied to any legitimate business. Interestingly, I had a chat with Virgin earlier about my bill, which might have inadvertently exposed my number somewhere in Asia. Normally, I don’t use this phone much - I’ve got it purely for broadband purposes, and I’ve registered it to avoid such nuisance calls. It seems I’m not the only one who’s been bothered by this number, as there are numerous other complaints logged. I reckon it’s just someone with far too much free time on their hands!

Got another annoying call today! Some bloke with an Asian accent kept insisting on speaking to me by name. I've dealt with this kind of thing before, so I just told him I wasn’t here and hung up. If this number rings again, I’m seriously thinking about taking legal action for harassment!

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, and her English was quite broken. She said there was an issue with my Windows computer that needed fixing. When I asked for a phone number to call her back, she just ended the call. I tried checking the number by dialling 1471 and it showed up as 02037695528.

This bloke called me saying he was from some 'telephone preference' thing, claiming they could stop annoying calls from abroad. Then he suddenly asked for my visa debit card info. I wasn’t having any of it and told him off pretty sharpish. Needless to say, he didn’t hang about after that!

First, some guy with an Asian accent called himself Steve! Then someone named Alex and also a woman named Emma rang me, all trying to get me for some consumer survey. Told each one I wasn't bothered and just ended the call. Really fed up with these now, they’re phoning me at least twice every day.

Just got a ring from this number at 7 in the morning, and honestly, it gave me a right shock - you just know something’s not quite right at that hour! When I picked up, it was dead silent, no one said a word. Just got a call from a bloke with an American accent using this number, asking for my dad who passed away like 10 years ago. I told him I’m a woman and the person he wanted isn’t around anymore. Instead of being decent, he rudely told me to d## off and hung up. Proper not on.

Someone called saying they were from a call blocking company. They told me the reason I kept getting annoying calls was because my subscription had run out. They asked me to confirm my name, address and phone number. Then they gave me a number to call back on, 01628 907450, which when I tried didn't even work. Feels like a dodgy scam to me.

Every morning without fail, I get a call around 7:30 or 7:45, which is pretty scary since I’m on my own. My family’s over in the States, so they’re not the ones. They ring me in the evenings too sometimes. The creepy bit is they say my full name when they call, so it makes me think it might be serious.

Got a call at 8:30 this morning, jumped out the shower thinking it must be urgent. The person on the line asked for me by name, so I asked who it was. They just said, “Mrs. A very good morning to you.” Honestly, I was so annoyed I hung up pretty quick. These calls are really getting on my nerves.

I got a call from a man with an Indian accent claiming to be from some telephone preference service. He wanted me to verify my name and address. I asked him what it was about, and he said he was with B.T. Something didn’t feel right, so I just ended the call. He sounded a lot like those people who call pretending your computer has a virus, you know the ones saying they’re from Windows. Honestly, these sort of calls should be banned. It’s so annoying having to deal with this nonsense all the time.

A guy with an Asian accent said his name was Alec! He asked me who my phone provider was. I told him I'm happy with what I've got and I'm not looking to switch. He claimed no one calls unless you're interested, but I told him I don’t think his name’s really Alec, so why should I trust him? I then thanked him and ended the call.

Yesterday (11th), I had a chat with someone who didn’t speak English very well. I had to be pretty blunt and told them to quit wasting both our time. That same number rang again today, but this time they just stayed quiet until they ended the call.

Got a call from them bright and early at 7.30 this morning! Plus, they called me two times yesterday too. Every time I make it clear I'm not keen and ask them to stop calling, they just keep going. Funny thing is, the same guy called me twice in the space of five minutes yesterday, then when I mentioned it, he pretended he hadn’t called before and even switched up his name! They seriously just won't give it a rest...
