I got a call from this number just now, the guy's English was awful. I reckon he found my number on CV Library because he mentioned my job and was trying to sell me a year-long gig in Germany - sounded way too good to be real.

I received a call this morning from this number. They inquired whether it was actually me on the line before abruptly disconnecting. How odd! Lately, I've encountered several suspicious calls and have done some digging into all the digits involved, discovering a lot of scamming activity. It's quite vexing, to say the least!

I just got a call from the number 02037695528, and the bloke on the other end mentioned something that started with "British," though I couldn't quite catch the rest due to his thick accent. He insisted I spare him 30 seconds for some feedback survey, which I politely declined. Then, to my shock, he rattled off my postcode and phone number. How on earth does he have access to that info? I didn’t verify anything, but it left me feeling completely rattled! How could he possibly know that?

I've had precisely the same experience. They rang me last week and then again today, 11th of April at 10 in the morning, and were hounding me for the details of the previous owner from a decade back. They seemed rather keen to have a conversation with me, which is rather irritating. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me.

Absolutely fed up with the number 02037695528, which is precisely why I decided to search for it on Google and ended up here.

This situation has escalated from simply irritating to rather concerning. They ring me nearly every day, occasionally multiple times a day. When I pick up, there’s often just dead air; other times, they abruptly end the call. A few times, they've tried to pry for my personal information. I mean, why do they need my name, address, or phone number when they seem to already possess all that info? It’s baffling!

This morning, precisely at 10:10 am on 25th March 2015, I received a rather odd phone call. At first, there was nothing but silence on the line before an individual with an Asian accent came on, inquiring about someone named 'Claire Painter.' It seems she used to reside at my address, but it's been a solid seven years since she moved away. When I informed him that Claire no longer lived here, he bizarrely asked if I 'owned the number.' I made it clear that I wasn't keen on sales pitches, yet he continued his spiel, prompting me to end the conversation abruptly by hanging up. Honestly, quite the nuisance!

I've been receiving repeated calls from an Asian gentleman claiming to assist with blocking unwanted nuisance calls for an annual fee of £49. When I declined and requested he remove me from his list, he persisted in arguing, insisting that the only way to cease the calls was to provide my bank details. I firmly refused and hung up. Now I'm bombarded with two or three calls daily, and I've decided to just ignore them altogether.

I'm absolutely sick and tired of getting calls from this number! We're ex-directory, so it's quite baffling how they managed to get hold of our details. Anyone have any clue how they do it?

I received a phone call from an outfit called "The Verso Group". When I requested to be removed from their database, they assured me they’d relay my message about not wanting unsolicited calls to someone who could deal with it. Nevertheless, just a few days later, I got another call from 02037695528. It seems that the Verso Group, or whoever they might be, is likely connected to this bother.

I received a rather dubious call from an Asian gentleman asserting he was representing some telephone preference service. To my surprise, he had my full name, home address, and even the expiration date of my payment card. When I pointed out that the expiry date was incorrect, I decided to end the conversation and hang up. Clearly, these blokes are up to no good!

I received a call from a chap who had an Asian accent, and he was rambling on about providing call-blocking services for BT. He then requested my credit card information, which I found rather dubious. When I pushed back for clarification, another fast-talking individual with a similar accent jumped on the line, followed by a third one, all very eager to get my card details. If that doesn’t raise a few eyebrows, I don’t know what would!

I had a rather frustrating phone call from this number earlier today, claiming to be associated with the Telephone Preference Service and offering to help curb those pesky scam calls. However, the chap on the line quickly transitioned to asking for my Visa information. Naturally, I ended the conversation immediately. It's quite vexing, really, as we're inundated with these kinds of calls multiple times daily, all featuring different dubious claims - and almost all from individuals sporting foreign accents. Is there not some way to put an end to this nonsense, especially considering how vulnerable some elderly and frail folks might be to such tactics?

I received a call today at twelve oh four in the afternoon from someone claiming to represent the Telephone Preference Service, stating they could help me put a stop to nuisance calls. They had my name, address, and phone number, and even mentioned an old credit card number that I had long since cancelled. While they insisted this service was complimentary, they were rather keen on obtaining my credit card details, which I outright declined to provide. They seemed to suggest an affiliation with BT, which, from my understanding, was entirely misleading. This was actually the fourth time in about a week that different individuals in my household have been targeted by such calls.

I got a call from the same number a few times but no one said anything, so I just ended the call. I’ve also had calls telling me I supposedly registered for the telephone preference scheme and now owe £49.00. When I told them it’s supposed to be free, they just hung up. These calls usually come from an overseas number.

I've been receiving calls from this number, and it seems to echo what others have mentioned. They had an alarming amount of information yet were asking about my Visa Debit card’s expiration date without mentioning which bank they represented. They claimed to be from something called Telephone Reference Management, but I found it rather challenging to understand them due to a pronounced Indian accent. Quite suspicious, to say the least!

I had a rather unsettling experience with a chap who identified himself as being from BT-an Asian gentleman, if I recall correctly. He seemed to know my name and full address, claiming to manage my Direct Debit payments for my BT account. They were pushing a service aimed at blocking unwanted calls and wanted to verify the expiry date of my payment card that they supposedly had on file. Despite my hesitation, he seemed intent on getting this information. When he realised I wasn't budging, he transferred me to his "supervisor," who was an Asian lady. She continued with her attempts to reassure me, but I pointed out that they hadn’t even asked for any password to authenticate themselves! Not at all put off by my concerns, they pressed on regardless. It’s quite disconcerting to think they already possessed so much personal information about me.

I keep getting daily calls from this number and it's becoming quite tiresome. Most of the time, they hang up as soon as I pick up, but when they actually do respond, it turns out to be a survey. I make it clear that I'm not interested in participating over the phone, but before I can even complete my sentence, they've already hung up on me. Being 67 and dealing with a heart condition, I find these incessant calls particularly stress-inducing. I never consented to these calls-what gives them the right to keep pestering me like this?

I received a rather suspicious phone call from this number earlier. The chap on the other end spoke with a distinct Asian accent and introduced himself as being from 'Consumer Opinions'. I expressed my disinterest and promptly ended the call. Not long after, I was contacted again by another fellow-again, with an Asian accent-who claimed to represent Microsoft Windows Support. He asked if I was aware of issues with my computer, to which I replied that I was completely unaware. He insisted there were problems and urged me to power it up immediately. Naturally, I refused, knowing it was nothing but a scam. He tried to convince me by saying many people share that misconception. I reiterated my disinterest and hung up once more. Just ten minutes later, I received yet another call from a different chap from 'Consumer Opinions'. I told him straight that I had already declined their offer and hung up again. They certainly seem persistent, don’t they?

My partner and I, both in our eighties, are rather fed up with this nuisance. We're not keen on being pestered by pesky telemarketers or anyone trying to swindle us out of our hard-earned cash. We really wish that this caller would be put off from bothering us!

It sounded like a bloke from India who rang me claiming to be from the UK’s phone preference service. Since my number is ex-directory, I’ve had it only a month, and already signed up to the telephone preference service here in the UK, I reckon my info’s been compromised. I’ve had dealings with call centres in India on another line, so maybe that’s where the leaks are coming through. Just watch what info you give out to any call centre - your details might get shared or sold on.

I receive calls from this number daily, and it's becoming rather tiresome. They never utter a word, so I've taken to simply hanging up now.

I get annoying calls from this number on a daily basis. It's quite disconcerting, to be honest. Just received a call from them at ten past six this evening, and, bizarrely, there was no one on the other end - just some fool making odd noises! It’s really frustrating. I’d like to lodge a complaint, but I'm at a loss as to where I should direct it!

Received a call at 7 in the morning, but there was nothing but silence on the end of the line. This isn't the first time I've had the misfortune of being contacted by this number; it’s truly a right pain!

I received a rather peculiar phone call from someone claiming they’d accidentally debited money from my account and needed my banking details to refund the amount. Sounds rather dodgy if you ask me!

This rather presumptuous chap from an Asian accent called me bright and early at half seven, claiming to represent the Microsoft Service Centre. He spoke over me incessantly as I pleaded with him to cease this nonsense and stop wasting my precious time with his ridiculous con. Eventually, he decided to hang up on me. To make matters worse, I received another silent call from the very same number around an hour and a half later.

I got a call from this number requesting my personal information and payment to put an end to unsolicited calls! I was under the impression that the Telephone Preference Service was supposed to be complimentary.

A rather dubious caller purporting to be from the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) contacted me, boasting that they could obstruct both UK and overseas calls for a nominal yearly fee. To proceed, they insisted on my credit card details. They informed me that to facilitate the blocking, I should hang up and dial out. Clearly, they remained on the line, as they rang me back shortly after. I chose not to pick up, and once the call ended, I made sure to block that number straightaway.

This morning at 7am (16th December), I received a call from this number which I decided to disregard. The frequency of their calls ramped up throughout the morning. When I finally picked up one of the calls, I confronted the bloke on the other end, insisting he ceases his incessant ringing. He introduced himself as Alex and proceeded to argue with me, arrogantly claiming he would carry on calling at all hours-every minute, every day, for an entire year. He seemed to revel in my distress, threatening to make it utterly impossible for me to avoid his incessant calls. After hanging up, he bombarded me with calls in rapid succession over the next hour. In a fit of frustration, I reached out to BT to report what felt like harassment in my own home. Regrettably, they informed me this individual was not within their jurisdiction and couldn’t assist me. I learned that the caller was linked to a service provider based in Dublin called DIDwwislandltd. I then contacted the police, but they also conveyed their inability to intervene with these calls. Ultimately, I was left with little choice but to change my phone number entirely. This situation is utterly intolerable. I’m registered with a caller preference service; however, they either cannot or refuse to address such nuisances. It appears these scammers are simply beyond reach.

I received five phone calls in just an hour and a half, from various individuals. Each one was asking me to grant them access to my computer, claiming it was infected with malware that they would fix for me. Do they really believe I’m daft enough to fall for that?

Just received a call from this number moments ago. It's the classic Windows Tech Support con. This chap attempted to validate his so-called credentials by claiming he was aware of my computer's unique ID number. He provided it and then directed me on how to bring it up on my screen. Turns out, what he showed me is identical on all Windows machines-absolutely nothing distinctive about it. He referred to himself as James. I quipped that it surely wasn't his real name. When I inquired what his mother called him, he cheekily responded with 'Bond!' Is this some sort of spoof for the latest James Bond flick? He claimed to reside on Victoria Street, close to Victoria Station in London, yet his accent was definitely not that of a Londoner.

In the space of just an hour, I received two calls from this number. The first time, there was a rather abrupt ‘goodbye’ from a recorded voice, while the second call left me waiting in silence until I decided to end it. Curious about the identity of the caller, I thought it prudent to look up 02037695528, only to discover that it isn't tied to any legitimate business. Interestingly, I had a chat with Virgin earlier about my bill, which might have inadvertently exposed my number somewhere in Asia. Normally, I don’t use this phone much - I’ve got it purely for broadband purposes, and I’ve registered it to avoid such nuisance calls. It seems I’m not the only one who’s been bothered by this number, as there are numerous other complaints logged. I reckon it’s just someone with far too much free time on their hands!

Another familiar ring from the pesky lot! An Asian chap was on the other end, rudely requesting me by name. I’ve encountered this sort of call previously, so I told him I was out and promptly hung up. Should I receive any further calls from this number, I will not hesitate to seek legal action for harassment!

I received a call from a woman with an Asian accent, her English was a bit shaky. She claimed there was an issue with my Windows OS that required attention. When she requested a number for me to return her call, she abruptly disconnected. After dialling 1471, I found out the number was 02037695528.

The chap introduced himself as being from 'telephone preference' and mentioned that they have the ability to block pesky international calls. He then proceeded to ask for my visa debit card information. At that moment, I rather unceremoniously directed him to shove off. And off he went, thank goodness!

First, some guy with an Asian accent called himself Steve! Then someone named Alex and also a woman named Emma rang me, all trying to get me for some consumer survey. Told each one I wasn't bothered and just ended the call. Really fed up with these now, they’re phoning me at least twice every day.

Blimey, I’ve just received a call from this number at the crack of dawn, around 7am, and it absolutely gave me a right shock! You naturally jump to the conclusion that something dreadful is happening. But when I picked up, there was nothing at all on the other end-just silence. I received a call earlier today from someone who seemed to know a lot about me, including the expiration date on my card. They requested that I fetch my card and provide them with the three-digit security code on the back. At that moment, I decided it was best to terminate the call. They claimed to represent the telephone preference service and promised to eliminate unwanted calls permanently.

Purported to be a service that stops unwanted calls. They told me that the reason I was inundated with irritating calls was due to my subscription lapsing. They insisted on verifying my name, address, and number. Then, they provided me with a number to ring for confirmation - 01628 907450 - but that number doesn’t seem to exist. I have a strong feeling this is just another scam.

Standard scam operation, if you ask me. When he started raving about a brief survey, I straight up asked him if he could verify that the info they were gathering was logged with the Information Commissioner’s Office. He swore it was all above board. The moment I hinted at looking into it myself, he suddenly hung up on me. Quite telling, isn’t it?

I've been getting calls regularly every morning around half seven to quarter to eight, and it's rather unsettling, especially since I reside alone and my family is all the way across the pond in the States. They also tend to ring in the evenings. What's particularly unnerving is that the caller always mentions my full name, which makes me think it might be something significant.

Got a call at 8:30 this morning, jumped out the shower thinking it must be urgent. The person on the line asked for me by name, so I asked who it was. They just said, “Mrs. A very good morning to you.” Honestly, I was so annoyed I hung up pretty quick. These calls are really getting on my nerves.

I received a call from a chap with an Indian accent claiming to be from a telephone preference service, requesting to verify my name and address. When I inquired about the reason for this request, he mentioned he was affiliated with B.T. I found the whole situation rather dodgy, so I decided to end the call. He gave off the same vibes as those blokes who ring up proclaiming there's a virus on my computer from Windows. Honestly, these kinds of unsolicited calls should be eradicated. It's high time we put an end to this nonsense!

A guy with an Asian accent said his name was Alec! He asked me who my phone provider was. I told him I'm happy with what I've got and I'm not looking to switch. He claimed no one calls unless you're interested, but I told him I don’t think his name’s really Alec, so why should I trust him? I then thanked him and ended the call.

Received a call this morning at half seven... and the day before that, they buzzed me twice! I've repeatedly told them I'm not keen and asked them to refrain from calling. Yet, they persist. Just yesterday, the same individual got in touch within a mere five minutes and claimed he hadn’t reached out before, even switching his name! It’s so infuriating, they just won’t take a hint...
