Got a call from this number earlier, claiming to be from Homeserve. I’ve heard Homeserve don’t do cold calls, so I wasn’t convinced right away. They asked for my bank info to supposedly start a new direct debit with a lower charge. But there’s no way they should be asking for bank details again, I’m sure about that.

They’ve rung me about five times now, always the same spiel about my insurance premium being too expensive but they can sort it out. Whenever I question them about the policy or say I don’t recognise the name, they hang up straight away. I even asked if they knew their number was being marked as a scam and the call just got dropped. Proper dodgy behaviour.

It seems this chap is ringing from various numbers, all part of some dodgy scheme where he’s spinning yarns about debts owed. He doesn't even bother to check who he's calling or whether he’s got the right digits! Initially, I received a call from a different 0203 number, where he masqueraded as someone from water and drainage insurance, so I swiftly blocked him. Then the latest was from 02037694998, and he was at it again, claiming to be renewing insurance for electrical items - another block on my phone. I reckon this isn’t the last I’ll be hearing from him. Simply blocking the numbers doesn’t seem to do the trick.

02037694998 - absolute pain, sounds like he’s got his boss breathing down his neck since he just kept pushing his script even after I asked him why he’s spreading lies and didn’t choose an honest job. Pretty clear he’s out to scam money, which is obviously illegal. But with so many dodgy people running the country these days, it's no surprise this nonsense keeps happening. Just make sure you don’t get too close to your neighbour though, or you might end up with a £60 fine and possibly a few years locked up.

Got a call this morning at about 9.02 from a 0203 number. I didn’t answer straight away and just kept quiet, then heard nothing on the line. When I finally muttered a rough 'Hello', the person just hung up. I was gonna put it under 'Unknown', but after reading what others said, I’m labelling it as 'Harassing' instead.

Got a call about my heating and plumbing cover for the house. I asked if I was already a customer with them, there was a bit of quiet then they just ended the call. I’ve blocked the number since. Seems like quite a few people here have had calls from this same number and company - they’re quite persistent with the ringing. I’ve reported them a few times and added my experience here too. Would recommend others do the same to help warn others.

I reckon this was one of those boiler cover scams. The voice on the line seemed totally prerecorded, like there wasn’t an actual person. The bloke kept ending every line with “OK?” and giving a pause just right for you to respond, it was so fake.

Got a call from this number around 5.35pm today, the bloke said his name was John and was trying to sell me boiler insurance. He mentioned he’d rung me a few days back from another London number, 02080894769. He was pretty pushy, kept going on about it. I told him it’s not my problem, it’s the landlord’s responsibility. Feels like he’s using loads of different numbers to try and get through.
